If you wanna make the Chick-fil-A Sandwich in this Video Pre-Order my Cookbook HERE:
Alright, I felt like making some Vegan Chick’n so I thought I might as well answer a very common question that I know a bunch of us get. Now I never have to answer it again, I’ll just forward them this video and you can too!
But, honestly, I’ve never understood why this upsets people. This concept made sense to me 20 years before going vegan when I first saw “Vegan Orange Chicken” on a menu, was intrigued, ordered it and loved it. After that I started eating more of these mock meats. Some were awful and some were great (kinda like non-vegan food!) Also, why don’t people get mad about Peanut BUTTER, or Coconut MILK, or Cadbury EGGS, or HOT DOGS??

finally, an agreeable vegan
It's not even tofu or mushrooms 😕
What it taste like?
Fried tofu sandwich??
There’s already a term
Chicken-fried mushroom. Chicken-fried tofu.
Interesting. Anyway do whatever you want, more for the rest of us
I am not a Vegan… But I find Vegan based meat replacement to be such an amazing feat of human application in science and have been so fascinated by it since.
Vegan food are a very sustainable form of Protein source and the idea that we can enjoy eating something very close to a meat in flavour and texture while only using plants and fungi, our most sustainable way to gain food without using a lot of land and resources in compare to an animal, is such an amazing concept to help future generations maintain food and nutrition security.
Maybe because I am environmentally leaning here, but even if you're not you got to appreciate that we're creating food that doesn't depend on an animal. Something that couldn't really be shipped easily in a bulk quantity for long distances if you plan to breed that animal in situ… Not to mention whether or not that animal would be acclimated to the region you're moving it to… And yeah, ask anyone if they appreciate flash frozen meat…
With plants and fungi, all you need is a Greenhouse / Mycelium farm to get started anywhere on the world…
Love your recipes
Y u is vegan?
I'm not vegan, but this seems pretty obvious. I mean, if you want something like what you used to eat, you're probably going to look up it's name with vegan on the beginning or end. That's what I'd expect, at least.
I think in general Fried Chicken is the name of the dish itself, doesn't have to be made with chicken
another explanation, it's made to taste like it's counterpart. if it's made to taste like chicken but it's vegan then it's vegan chicken
That's evil but ethical
The second vegan chicken that was frozen he showed is absolutely gross. Dont eat it
Nothing was clear until the very end you should just said that
Ah makes sense. Some dishes just have more renowned names that are used.
Vegan meatballs = balls
people get really defensive about meat lol
I agreed about it being fried tofu but one he said it was a easier way of searching. It is legit a scam
It's weird I like fried tofu but I feel iffy about vegan chicken, which is basically tofu 😂
Is the bread vegan?
Good explaination. Next time someone asks me that, i just send them this video. It happens so often, i get sick of it. Often times these people try to argue with me because they will try to convince me to eat meat again
Make a burger out of chicken feet
Well I appreciate your honesty brother
Vegan chicken, but loaded with salt lol
I tell you, in my country, fried mushrooms is hella awesome
I feel like people don't manage to reflect very well anymore…
Well yea lol
Going vegan is a choice that many people make to do the least amount of harm to the environment, and making that choice easier is to adapt foods to that diet instead of taking them away.
Cause if you cant have something then you'll WANT that something more and if there's no option or alternatives, having that diet is hard to keep! I'm glad that more options are available to our vegan friends cause food is important to everyone in different ways and missing something you used to have because it doesn't support the way you're trying to live must be really hard
Dude you such a chill guy it’s a shame a few vegans are Ass hats so everyone assumes all vegans are like it. Keep up the chill vibes dude.
Tempe please 🥺🥺
Thank you for being civil and giving a clear direct response instead of taking offense even tho the person might have been being critical, this world needs more people like u!
reason i eat vegan shit: im allergic to all meat other than fish
I feel bad for vegans, homies are just doing the best they can to make the world a better place and get clowned on because of people like thatveganteacher
It's still not chicken 😕
I mean they call chicken fried steak that but there is no chicken.
It's disappointing you have to explain this.
Ok most of the time vegan food looks nasty but that chicken sandwich looks amazing 🤩
I have a question, if people become vegan bc they think it's unethical and/or they wanna be environmentally friendly.
but if i have a farm, where I raise my own cows, chickens, pigs, etc; I grow my veggies and stuff, is it unethical?
I think it's a good alternative and hopefully one day it's taste and texture is indistinguishable from real meat but I can't stand people who say it's healthier, it definitely isn't.
i mean yes of course vegan chicken sounds better but lets be real fried mushrooms are sick too. And if i want to eat vegan you shouldnt care how it looks just that it tastes good. Theres so much extra shit in those fake meat look alikes that i as an non vegan would shurly eat an plank tofu bar instead.
Perfect explanation.
The biggest thing for me is that you know how to cook that thing. If you can cook a beef burger, a vegan burger is straightforward and builds on your existing knowledge. It streamlines the learning experience & softens the curve for those looking to eat less/ no meat.
I feel like some people think vegan is healthy it might have some health benefits but mainly if you’re eating vegan versions of meat it’s as unhealthy or even more unhealthy than real meat. Unless you make it yourself with not too much sodium
