How I lost weight quickly with a Whole Food Plant-based diet, and am using Dr. McDougall’s Starch Solution to keep the weight off FOREVER! I also eliminated my high blood pressure and have more energy, while enjoying delicious homemade oil-free Vegan meals.
As a Type 1 diabetic (originally misdiagnosed with Type 2 diabetes), my doctors recommended a low-carb diet, but I discovered that carbs only continually raise blood sugar when consumed with fat. I reduced my insulin needs by 50% by following a high carbohydrate, low fat diet and leveraging tips from Mastering Diabetes, like Intermittent Fasting (IF) and regular activity.
