  1. Kudos for making the jam from scratch! I've been using Good Good Jam, which I recently discovered- it's SUPER low carb, tasty, and only $5 at HEB😊 I wanted something dessert like for my birthday, so I got some strawberry Good Good Jam, whipped cream cheese( which I lightly sweetened with Walden Farm 0 cal syrup), sugar free whipped cream and chopped pecans and made dessert crepes on Crepini egg thins! They were DELICIOUS! About 2 carbs and 100 calories each😊

  2. Thank you so much for getting back on track and reminding me of the truth of eating keto. It’s not hard. It’s just that my carb loving self makes excuses to eat the stuff that messes me up. This is the Jess that I started following over a year ago! No judgment, just appreciation for your help in my own goals. I lost 70 pounds in the last year and then the past couple months have made lots of excuses to eat carbs again and gained 3.4 pounds. But that isn’t the worst part. The worst part is what my brain and body feels like. Sluggish, tired, blue, no drive to be creative. Thank you🤗 You are very appreciated.

Love that the kids are learning to can, it's something we all need to get back to. Those strawberries! Oh my they are beautiful and I can about imagine the taste!! So jealous!

  4. I understand you have a hard time with trusting your self when it comes to listening to your body and knowing the difference between cravings and true hunger. But don't let the fear of not being able to trust yourself drive you to another extreme sister! I have been there too! And macro counting does have its place i believe, especially in the beginning. But in my opinion it is the very thing that trips you up….a macro calculator does NOT know your body the way you do Jess! You CAN trust your own intuition as long as you stay in the boundaries of the super low to NO carb lifestyle you have led! A macro calculator cannot accurately tell you or anyone exactly what you're consuming or need. Your hormone levels and all that is going to vary greatly between folks. The key to regulating those hormones is not to count macros, but to eat fatty meats, eggs etc and just a little veg….you know, like ketovore….and then the signals you get going to your brain will be accurate and trustworthy! I honestly think you're on your way to doing that….keeping it simple ! Recipes look great! My suggestion is a simple one…..just cut back a little more on the veg….not all together….and see how that works and to STOP macro counting! If you are hungry eat as much meat as you want! I have finally started having success in this area and thats how I am overcoming day to day! Hope this helps and thanks again for another great video! ✌
