  1. As an ex chef, the biggest tip I can give you is get a knife with a wider blade and a bigger chopping board, it'll make your life so much easier. A folded up bit of damp cloth under the board will stop it moving around. Keep the tip of the knife on the board and move the back side up and down, feeding the veggies in with your palm.

    Keep cooking Kay – love your stuff, but I keep thinking you might slice a finger off
