  1. I just put mine in the instant pot. All I had were red onions, so I hope that will be okay. I'm going to let it vent naturally and then put it up for tomorrow and reheat what I need. I think I need to make some no-knead oil free bread to go with this.

  2. Glad I found you . I just started the Mediterranean diet but need low amount of fat and oils. Due to gallbladder removal. But I love split pea soup and will make this recipe. I’ve made it years ago but forgot and I want to use my new instant pot. Ty That’s the biggest onion I’ve ever seen lol

  3. Thanks for the recipe. I like your style. Just trying to eat less meat in a house where the hubby is a "meat and potatoes" guy. I have made this with a ham bone but plan to make it vegan to see what happens. Also, I have to eliminate onions and garlic. I love 'em but they don't love me!

  4. Thank you very much for the recipe! Just so you are aware, at the top of the recipe card on your website it says the Instant Pot cook time is 37 minutes, but lower on the page it says under Instant Pot Instructions to cook it for 15 minutes before letting the pressure naturally release for 15 minutes.
