  1. Thanks so much for this wonderful video! I had a lovely time dancing around the kitchen to a Ghanaian playlist and making this recipe. I went to an African food shop I'd never visited before, cooked with new ingredients, and ended up with a really richly and deeply flavoured soup!

    Anyone else making this: Beware if you're not used to the heat of scotch bonnets (like me). I used just one scotch bonnet – half in the onion/ginger blended mix at the beginning, the other half I put in for the later stage when it's added with the tomato and onion. I found it as hot as medium-hot curry, which right at the edge of what I can eat.

    I also definitely recommend adding the okra and fufu; I didn't have it and I think they'd add some welcome bulk.
