Egusi Soup is by far one of my favorite Nigerian Soups. Egusi or Agushi is super easy to make as long as you have all of the needed ingredients. Traditionally, Egusi is made with lots, and lots of meat and fish/seafood, but with the recent surge in veganism, a lot of people have been asking me for a Vegan Nigerian Egusi Soup Recipe. Well, here it is!
In this video, I’ll show you how to make the Ultimate Vegan Egusi Soup. No one on online and maybe offline has ever made Egusi using this exact recipe. I can gladly say we invented this in our kitchen!. I’ve been working on this recipe for a while now and when I finally tasted it and it hit the spot, I was beyond elated and couldn’t wait to share it with you all. Now go ye forth and recreate this ultimate Vegan Nigerian Egusi Soup Recipe.
I hope you all would enjoy it. Please let me know in the comment section how yours turns out. I’ll also like to know if you like it chunky or smooth. As I mentioned in the video, I’m indifferent. Remember, Egusi Soup can be eaten with rice. So don’t just stick to the traditional methods of eating Egusi. Experiment a little lol.
