I have lost 70 lbs total since February of 2020 on a plant-based diet. In April of 2020, I started The Starch Solution and Mcdougall’s plan for Maximum Weight Loss. It is a high carb, low fat, no oil, whole food plant based diet. I lost 43 pounds from solely eating this way.

  1. Wednesday will be my 1 year WFPB anniversary. I’ve learned a lot from watching your channel and I wanted to say thank you Taylor for the easy recipes and for the motivation to continue on this lifestyle. I’ve lost around 45lbs and I have about 25 to go. I followed mainly the starch solution and used the maximum weight loss recipes along the way for my meals when I could since my family is not vegan like me. But I’m proof that it’s possible to do with some perseverance. ( also I’m your moms age) My health has improved so much it’s hard to explain to others what the difference it truly makes. All my numbers cholesterol, blood pressure all were borderline before and I was heading towards medication like my parents and theirs, now It has reversed and my doctor was amazed that all I did was change my diet. (Wish he would have suggested that instead of the ones they give you to try and don’t work) I have way more energy than I did and I don’t start hurting as soon as I hit the floor in the morning. And like you I walk that’s it. I still eat out, occasionally have oil when unavoidable at restaurants but that’s ok. I stopped looking at the scale and started paying attention to my clothes which Im happy to say have went down two sizes. Thanks again for the work you put into your videos. You’re reaching people like me and helping them more than you know. ❤️
