  1. I’m so sorry but this was not good. I followed everything to a T, but in the end I had to make adjustments to save this dish. Here’s some thoughts: TOO much potatoes… makes it so grainy at the end. Literally 1.5-2 cups would’ve been better. Soak cashews before so that they aren’t adding to the grainy texture. Add nutritional yeast because without it, there was nothing “cheesy” as bout it. Add more salt. And additionally what saved this recipe for me was coconut cream!

    Hope this helps anyone trying to make it!!

  2. I hate to break the news to all these vegans who think they are helping the animals. More animals die for the processing of vegan products than people realize. Farmers have to put poison out to kill deer and rabbits and all kinds of wonderful living creatures so they don’t eat the spinach and the carrots and the kale and the cotton and the list is endless on how many animals die so vegans can enjoy their lettuce.
