I hope this wasn't sacrilegious but I made your jerky recipe using some wagyu beef that was on sale. Holy cow! Super delicious. Would be interesting to do a side by side comparison with regular beef
Next week goal…….
Best tip is cutting the jerky against the grain, been doing that for years and makes a huuuge difference.
Just found your channel! Where have you been all these years! Stumbled across you web page looking for ideas smoking chuck roast for a smoked philly cheese steak and smoked doner kebab sliders I’m doing for the game tomorrow.
this is great def be doing these recipes, love's me some jerky
Doesn't the pineapple juice mean it's not sugar free? I am wondering if that's more like reduced sugar? Thanks, keep em coming Suzie.
That green chili wow I have to make that! Thank you so much. I'm new to the smoking jerky will be my first adventure.
Coffee is a fruit… Toss some beans in the smoker to roast and add flavor. And/Or instant coffee to the marinade….
Thank you so much! Gonna try the green chile.
Mmm jerky! Always better homemade!
Hi! Is there any way to add pink curing salt #1? If so, how much would I be adding in the same amount you currently have for this recipe?
My pancreas thx you!!
Ok…. Y'all do ALOT of the same things we do…. But I gotta ask… Why do you call ziploc, ziptop?🤷🏼♂️
If I added prague powder #1, how long would the cooked jerky last in the fridge?
Delicious
👍👍👍
Do you live in New Mexico?
🙂
Perfect Timing. I plan on making Jerky this weekend. Thanks.
Nawice!
Love the recipes! I use my slicer at home set just below 2. Perfect size. Glad you have yours sliced the same!
I think I’ll try the one with the pineapple juice on some geese I harvested this year.!
If you fold the top 3 or 4 inches of your bag inside out, you don't need to hold it open. The closure seam acts like a rim and keeps it open. If you fold it half way down, the closure rim sits on the tabletop and your bag is now like a bowl, open and stationary. I'm a lazy guy, can you tell?
Just what I needed today! Awesome.
