Serve the tofu in tortillas with fresh veggies and the salsa.
"How to make Tofu taste good?" Stop treating it as imitation meat. Tofu is delicious, but most recipes that try to make it taste like meat just douse it in sauce and use it as a filler, instead of for the flavor of tofu itself.

OMG I tried this and it was delicious! I made my own sauce from toasted Mexican dried peppers and had a jar of mango chutney called kuchela, and it gave it such a nice smokey after taste that went really well with the pineapple juice, as some of the juice caramelized. Love it when I mess around and it comes out amazing.
