  1. Maybe less cheese and batter when make them in waffle maker. Also try a milder cheese mozzarella provolone Colby less cheese taste. I also always dry my cottage cheese by putting paper towel over it replace lid and leave in fridge lids side down to drain it. Change towel few times this removes the whey and leaves the curds which are wet enough to use or eat

  2. Girls- you put WAY TOO much shredded cheese in the making of the chaffle! No wonder it exploded out the sides. A very scant tsp of shredded cheese is plenty! I enjoy the crispiness and flavor using either cheddar or gouda (my personal fave) gives to the chaffle. Just consider the amount of shredded cheese and batter as a total amount that you are putting in the chaffle maker and you won't experience overflow. That said – I love you two and I love your willingness to try different things. I've gotten such great tips and recipes from you! You are both so real and so hilarious. Thank you, thank you for your channel. You've inspired me SO MUCH! I've been doing Keto now almost a year – have really slimmed down from size 22 to 12 and most of all, feel terrific. ❤❤

  4. Admittedly, I'm only half-way through the video but I love the Birch Benders low carb pancakes just the way they are. Why should I add cottage cheese? Is it only to get more protein out of them??!?

  5. I've started premixing my chaffle mix – one part keto wheat flour, one part almond flour, 1 tsp baking powder per cup of dry mix. To make them, I add a cup of cheese, one egg, and half a cup of mix for six waffles. They're really good with cheddar, too!

  6. When I was a little girl, my mother would put cottage cheese on a piece of toast with cinnamon/sugar and put it in the oven to heat it up, it was almost like a cheese danish. I haven't had that since I was little, many moons ago and I would love to see you try that with the cottage cheese. Thank you for always trying new things for us to put into our keto arsenal. The pancakes are gong to be my next meal! Take care ladies.

  7. Back in the 70’s, I learned a recipe in weight watchers I still make. They called it a ‘cheese danish.’ Simply cottage cheese, vanilla, sweetener (I use stevia or allulose), cinnamon. Mix, spread on a tortilla, or bread of choice, and bake till desired doneness. I’m in my 60’s, and still make this for breakfast often. Lost 40lbs on keto ladies, and I do enjoy your channel!

  8. so my hubby wanted "Hashbrowns" so I modified your newest chaffle recipe

    1 cup shredded mozzarella

    1 cup shredded ClobyJack

    2 tablespoons lupin flour

    1 teaspoon xanthan gum

    1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning

    couple shakes of pepper

    4 tablespoons egg whites

    1 cup Jicama*

    * peel Jicama, then grate with cheese greater. Microwave in a bowl for about 6 mins

    Drain with cheese cloth.

Is there anything you won't try …nope I think not 😂😂!!!??I'm not sure how to link it cuz I'm older than dirt but low carb love has a 90 second microwave cheesecake that is delicious,I changed mine up a lil, I added blueberries one on strawberries another time , a lil more lemon juice and sweetener I used stevia but it was soooo good😮!
