🥣 Ingredients:
220g | 1 cup yellow split peas
350ml | 1.5 cup water
2tbsp chickpea flour
100g | 1 cup walnuts
2tbsp finely chopped parsley with stems
2 garlic cloves
salt and black pepper to taste
1tbsp oil

🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
❗You can add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
❗You can use dairy-free yogurt, salsa or chutney as a dip sauce

🥣 Method:
Rinse and drain 220g | 1 cup yellow split peas
Pour 350ml | 1.5 cup water
Simmer until water absorbed
Transfer cooked yellow split peas to a mixing bowl
Mash with potato masher
Add 2tbsp chickpea flour
Chop 100g | 1 cup walnuts and 2tbsp finely chopped parsley with steams
Finely chop 2 garlic cloves
Season with salt and black pepper
Pour 1tbsp oil
Mix until combined
Shape into small patties
Heat a little olive oil in a non stick skillet.
Fry the patties on a medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

  1. Hey ! How are you doing. Been a while since i had the time to go online but as usual one of my first go-to place is your channel. Way before checking my emails !
    This sounds absolutely delicious and tomorrow is my day off so this will be my lunch and i will also make the pancakes for breakfast and the falafel (i adore falafels) for dinner, So thanks to you i have my whole day meal covered.
    I am off to buy all i need for tomorrow and i thank you so much for keeping us fed with diversed and delicious food time after time. You are a life and by far my favourite chef.
    I hope you are doing well and that autumn is slowly coming. Japan is finally getting cooler, after one of the hottest summers on record for hundred years so i welcome the fresh and cool air (still 35 degree celcius tomorrow, but this is apparently the last hot day of the year, yey yey !
