  1. LENTIL SOUP (the best weight loss soup!)
    Makes 4 servings – 315 calories per serving 63g carbs/16g protein/2g fat
    Ingredients
    1 cup red lentils (rinsed)
    1 medium zucchini, chopped
    3 medium carrots, chopped
    2 cups cauliflower
    1/2 medium white onion
    1 lb of potatoes, cubed
    6 cups water
    1 tbsp curry powder
    1/2 tbsp turmeric
    Boullion cube or salt to taste

    Add all of your ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Cover and bring down to a simmer. Let the soup cook about 20 minutes or until the lentils are cooked then lightly blend with an immersion blender. You can add some black pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
