Everyone obsessing about how this recipe is too high-calorie or too high-carb need to calm down… You need a decent amount of calories and carbs for your body and brain to even function, Oats are really filling so you only need a small amount! Most importantly not a single ingredient used in this recipe is unhealthy.

  2. A recipe I do for oatmeal that smells and tastes delicious and is 1 serving. It's also about 300 calories (for me since I use almond milk)

    1/2 oats
    1 cup almond milk or preferred milk
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 mashed banana

    Mix that in a saucepan and put it on high until it comes to a boil. And then cook and stir it on a medium to low setting until desired consistency. If you want it a little bit less runny then use 3/4 or 1/2 cup milk and top it off with the other half of the banana. And voila! Delicious!
