*******RECIPE UPDATE*********
A few of people said their flatbread was a little crumbly and not sturdy which got us back into the test kitchen to find out what could be causing it. We found the the brand of almond flour ( has to be super finely ground) and coconut flour made a difference, but by adding 4-5 T of psyllium husk instead of 2, made a difference, or 1T of Xanthum gum also made them stronger. So IF you find your flatbread is not as sturdy as you’d like, try these two things. It doesn’t affect the great taste! Also be sure to let them cool to room temperature.

Hi all! BREAD! I It could possibly be the Achilles heel of all of us living the keto lifestyle! We all want it, we all miss it, and now you can have it! It took a couple of months, but we looked at recipes we found all over the internet and combined them, taking out ingredients we didn’t like and adding those we did. The end product is a very strong, pliable and great tasting flatbread that you can wrap around anything your heart desires!
The nutritional yeast in this recipe is optional but I HIGHLY recommend you use it, as 1 1/2 T of this magic yellow dust has over 600% of your FDA recommended B vitamins. All of them. So don’t skimp on this!

Our Keto Flatbread Recipe
1/4 cup coconut flour
1cup almond flour
2t of salt, or to taste. (we add a 1 T)
4 T psyllium husk
1 t baking soda
2 T nutritional yeast (optional)
1 T apple cider vinegar
2 T olive oil
1-1 1/2 cups of WARM water (this ‘activates’ the psyllium husk)
Mix together all dry ingredients, ACV and olive oil in a large bowl. Add 1 cup of water, and mix for a few minutes while the psyllium husk and coconut flour absorb the liquids. The dough should feel
almost too wet but easy to handle, and you need to add the last cup of water gradually. Let the dough set for 15 minutes, and then you can start working with it. Divide the dough into 7-9 little balls. Roll each one out by placing them between two sheets of parchment paper.
Fry each flatbread in your choice of oil for about 2 minutes on each side. Let them cool a bit using them. This gives them time to bond together giving them strength!
Enjoy!
The almond flour we use is Natures Eats and you can get it on Amazon here:
Also, we’ve had questions about the tortilla press we used, and this is it

To all who asked for the macros on this bread!!!!! They are now posted right above the recipe!!
Bread "it's such an American thing" 🤣 oh OK ladies 😄 If anything about bread is American it's the 15 tons of additives nobody has asked for and the taste of cardboard.
Good video…(except for the music)… can’t wait to try it.
I WISH INSTEAD OF YOURSELF, YOU COULD SHOW THE INGIRIDIANCE AS A LIST .
I love these. thanks. for sharing
This looks so good!
I have nutritional yeast so awesome to try this some time this month. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))
Thanks for the recipe, and all your information and tips you include. Great video 🙏🏽
Is the recipe in the video better than the written recipe? They are very different.
Please get rid of the music- why post a recipe when u left out an ingredient . ??
2 foolish woman looking at the sky to give a silly recipe
Hello ladies~ I'm trying to decide if I should use 1 cup of coconut flour(video) or 1/4 cup(written recipe) and NO, I do not expect that you will see this on Christmas day! But, if you do see it later on, it would be wonderful to hear which amount worked best for you=) I think I will go for the 1/4 c. coconut & 1 cup almond, as written…& pray. Thanks for the recipe~ Samantha in AZ
Thank you , yummy off to make. 😊❤️
Found the recipe, but it doesn't match the video??
Where is the written recipe?
I’m so upset that you didn’t take the time to review your written recipe or even show the correct ingredients when making this! I’ve wasted all my dear ingredients to this mess that tastes like baking soda!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!💛
Does anyone know if the psyllium is just the husks or is it the husk powder? Makes a big difference and I can't tell from the video.
it says 1/4 cup cocnut flour..yet you said 1 cup!
What can one use instead of coconut flour ? Thank you%!
They look nice, but not like the foto they posted in the video 😖😖😖…. looks better
I am a bit confuse with this recipe as the ingredients call for 1 1/2 cups of water but the instructions stated 2 cups. Please advise. Thanks in advance
I made these and they are great👌 thank you for the recipe💕💕
Is the nutritional yeast in flake or powder form. also can you substitute xanthan gum or the psyllium husk?
Thx for the recipe. Is there a substitute for coconut flour ? Cause i don’t really like the flavor it makes….
Thank you
🤭Size does not matter…. tell a man that😆🤣
I have a large family and need to prep ahead. Could I store the balls of dough in the freezer and bring out as needed? Should I flatten then before freezing?
Confused. Video has 1 cup of coconut flour, recipe says 1/4 cup?
What can I use besides psyllium husk if I don't have any?
I never knew I was 7 feet tall!
I have a roti maker which is like that tortilla press but it cooks the dough. That would be great with this recipe! Just press and leave it until it is cooked.
