Here we are to explore how to make tasty and healthy low glycemic load recipes, especially for diabetics. You don’t need to sacrifice taste if you have diabetes, you need to explore options.

So here we are again with a Diabetic Treat. This festive season tries these healthy and yummy low glycemic load Bread for diabetic patients. The Glycemic Load of Per Peas Paratha will be around 2.2.

Peas paratha Recipe

Ingredients for Peas Paratha :

Diabexy Sugar Control atta – 100gm
Desi Ghee -1tbsp ( 10gm)
Ajwain -1tsp (5gm)
Nutroactive Mineral Salt – as per taste
Chopped spinach -30gm

For paste :

Boiled green peas -30gm
Ginger – ~10gm
Green chili-1
Few coriander leaves.
Make a smooth paste using a mixer-grinder.

Method:

1- For the paste, take a mixing jar add boiled peas, ginger, and green chili and make a smooth paste.
2- Take a bowl, and put the Diabexy atta into it.
3- Add ghee, ajwain, and salt, chopped spinach & mix it nicely.
4- Add the green peas paste into it.
5- Add warm water slowly and make a nice dough.
6- Role the paratha out to cook it on Tawa using Desi Ghee.
7. Serve it hot with bhaji/ curry & raita / Dahi.
