Welcome back! Today I put 5 ‘healthy’ desserts to the TEST! Floourless Brownies, Chickpea Blondies, Baked Oatmeal + MORE! There is one winner and one massive loser! Watch to see which recipe is out FAVORITE and which one I will NEVER make again.

**just because something Is labeled as ‘healthy’ does not mean it’s low calorie!!*

Recipe One: Flourless Banana Chocolate Chip Brownies:
First found from my girl nona. recipe is from: hungryhappens
2 medium ripe bananas
1 C smooth peanut butter
1/3 C maple syrup (honey)
1 egg
1 tsp baking sida
1/2 C chocolate chips
325 for 20 minutes (mine took about 30)

Recipe Two: Baked Oats
1/2 C oats
1 banana
2 tbs coco powder
dash of cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
almond/pb on top
blend and bake at 350 for 25 mins

Recipe Three: Chickpea Blondies
1 can chickpeas
1/2 C peanut butter
1/3 C maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 C vegan chocolate chips
blend and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes

Recipe Four: Healthy Peach Cobbler
cut one peach and place it on a baking sheet with tin foil
sprinkle peach with cinnamon & honey
mix together melted butter (or coconut oil) oats, maple syrup, cinnamon
place on top of peaches
bake at 375 for 15 minutes
serve with ice cream or milk and enjoy!

Recipe Five: Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites
cut one banana into slices
layer peanut (or whichever nut butter you prefer) onto half of the slices
make banana sandwiches
melt chocolate
dip frozen bananas in chocolate
freeze again until hard

I’ve been trying “healthy” baking and I’m following the recipes so it should taste good as described but for me nah🙃 most of recipes include nut butter or banana or coconut oil and these are over powering flavour. Oat flour makes the texture dense. So I realised “healthy desserts” can’t be replaced to “normal desserts”, it’s different things

  2. Just found your channel! I think I might have to make the banana chocolate chip brownies (which honestly doesn't sound appetizing – brownies and bananas??), but based on your family's reaction, I think I will!

    The chickpea blondies didn't even look like they had the texture of blondies. I've made a very similar recipe that wasn't baked and you eat it like edible cookie dough (with a chickpea and peanut butter combo) that is INSANELY delish!! So, maybe your batter would have been better when eaten raw?? Anyways, loved this video!!
