This is a delicious chawal or rice kheer recipe which is also called rice pudding in the west. It is made at home to keep a balance of the taste. In total, it takes around 45 minutes to prepare. It depends which rice you have at home. If it is an Indian or Pakistani household, you must have basmati chawal. If it is an American house hold, you must have the long grain American rice. Both works just fine. Boil the rice before making the sweet chawal kheer or rice pudding recipe. Then chop them with a blender or what we call a juicer in Pakistan. Then, boil everything in 3 cups of milk with condensed milk, cardamoms(iliachi) and some almonds and coconut flakes. Adding Sugar depends. If you are not diabetic, you can add as much as you like. But, this Sweet Chawal ka Kheer Recipe can also be made for diabetics. You can replace sugar with a doctor prescribed sweetener and put appropriate amount. After half an hour, the Chawal ka Kheer is ready to be eaten by you and your family.
