“A Salad a Day keeps Disease and Aging at Bay.”
Apart from the natural taste, fragrance and color, vegetables and fruits give numerous health benefits when eaten in their raw form. It makes a substantial contribution to disease prevention, healthy weight and youthful energy. And most importantly, salads are super easy to prepare. During Summer-2020, amidst of Covid-19 pandemic, I wanted to have a sweet yet savory salad bowl which would give a cooling effect too. I gave it a try to mix watermelon with roasted seeds, seasoned with Himalayan Pink Salt and Black Pepper with a simple dressing using Lime and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It turned out to be great in taste as well as nutrients value.
