I love cooking arroz con pollo or carne guisada for my friends. Everyone makes it differently depending on how they learn their spices and I literally have people hugging me, kissing me, and talking about it for days. It's the best feeling 😌
As a filipino, this particular dish just hits different, the sour ness and the salmon is amazing! As a kid whenever my friends asked me " what's your favourite food?"
And I would ALWAYS say "I like Sinigang"
Never seen a spoon as humongous as that one
Sinigang is a Pinoy’s Soup for the Soul….I agree a Warm hug in a big bowl😍🥰

It’s like ‘Keng Som’ fr. Thailand, but the soup is yellow.. we call it “singgang”
Kare kare… my favorite
I like her contents, images and words, just not her high pitch voice.
This is my favorite Filipino dish!! My mom always makes it for me! It’s salty, sour, I’ve even tried some that’s sweet!
When I went to a pinoy restaurant with my friends family, I showed them all my favorite dishes from the Philippines. Seeing their faces as they enjoyed it made me so proud (despite me not knowing how to cook)
That's a huge spoon
everything my grandma cooks
What paste did you use because I usually use the Mama Sita tamarin powder
I wonder how it taste with salmon. We always use tuna or mackerel. The smaller tuna type of fish which are cheaper but same mouth feel. Because they have dense meat and won't fall apart when stewed. In fact, you can cook these types of fish in adobo with coconot milk until the bones are so soft that you can eat the fish, bones and all.
Pork version is my fav
You should try salmon head next time with sinigang! It's really good together
Sounds like south indian fish curry tamarind paste n fish yumm
Sinigang sa philippines
My mom made some soup 3 days ago with imitation crab, salmon, shimeji mushrooms, leek, scallions, and garlic/bell peppers. Then on the side we've been having tortillas with Swiss cheese and pesto. Super savory
I had Canh chua last night! My mother had made it and this time she used salmon
