SIMPLE KETO CHURRO DOUGHNUT HOLE BITES WITH A SECRET INGREDIENT!

This is the holy grail of doughnut hole recipes. These sugar-free, buttery keto doughnut holes are rolled in butter and dusted with a cinnamon β€œsugar” topping to create a delicious churro bite sized snack.

FULL RECIPE:

KETO CHURRO DOUGHNUT HOLE BITES

1 cup almond flour
1/4 c unflavored or vanilla protein powder (try Perfect Keto Powder)
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons hot water

Cinnamon Sugar Coating
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup monk fruit
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Add all ingredients for the keto doughnut holes to a small bowl. Mix until combined. If dough is crumbly, add a splash more of water.
Roll dough into 1/2 to 1 inch balls and place on a parchment lined baking tray, spacing about 1 inch apart. It’s easiest to roll dough if your hands are wet or lightly greased with cooking spray.
Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes.
Once doughnut bites have cooled to the touch, dip each one in the melted butter. Then dip in a mixture of monk fruit and cinnamon.

  1. I just tried these. They are amazing! Melt in your mouth. Instead of Almond or Coconut flour…I used King Arthur Keto Flour. I hate the texture of almond/coconut flour. I added vanilla extract, cake batter extract, and some swerve Confectioner sugar to my dough. However mines turned to biscuits instead of holes. It was still amazing and now I have a new biscuit recipe lol

  3. Yum, these turned out great, Thank you! I needed a Churros recipe since we are having Mexican Fiesta night at grandma's (Taco Tuesday)It's actually my daughters Birthday but with 5 grand kids under 8 yrs old you gotta make it fun right? I try to convert my grand kids and my kids over to low carb whenever I can. I just finished baking these, I made these into Churros by piping the dough out with a plastic bag and a star tip. I also added 2 tsp of Psyllium husk to the mix just bump up fiber a bit and helps hold things together. In my oven they needed 15 min at 350, nice golden brown and still soft inside. I would also recommend not using Erythritol type sweetener for the cinnamon sugar at the end, I just don't like the cooling that it gave, not a fault of the recipe just personal taste, next time I will try Bocha Sweet as another comment suggested before.
