2 lbs cucumbers
2 tsp salt
Seasoning:
1 garlic, minced
1/2 small onion, sliced
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1-2 tsp sugar
2 tsp fish sauce (or you can substitute with soy sauce)
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp gochugaru
1 tsp sesame seeds

First of all i am vegetarian so no fish oil/sause, secondly Jain so no onion and garlic. What should I do?

What if you don’t have gochugaru?
I bet you can use lemon juice in place of salt.
i would highly recommend using cucumbers with bigger seeds inside, tastes a little sweet and not bitter at all💯
I’m going to try this with English cucumbers since they don’t release as much water and stay crunchy pretty long
