When I canned before. I use to freeze my berries as I found it released more of the juices for the sugar. But would that still apply for this recipe?

I've watched videos that say you can also use an old t shirt or towel… as long as there's something to keep them from sitting directly on the bottom 🤷♀️…I haven't tried it because I have a canner with a rack.

I am not a person that likes jams or preserves (because of the chunky nature of the finished product), but I would dearly love to make some strawberry JELLY. Is there a method that you know of that would produce those results? Perhaps using a stick blender to smooth out the cooked strawberries and then passing the puree through a strainer???
