Sweet Potato Halwa Recipe || Shakarkandi Halwa || Diabetic Dessert ||
Ingredients
2 Boiled Sweet Potatoes
1/2 tbsp Pure Ghee
1/4 Cup Skimmed Milk
1/2 tbsp Cardamom Powder
Pinch of Cinnamon
2 tbsp Stevia ( Optional)
Almonds/Walnuts to Garnish
Method
Peel boiled sweet potatoes
Grate them
In hot Ghee ,add grated sweet potatoes ,cardamom powder and pinch of cinnamon
Cover and cook for 10 mins
After cooking for 10 mins,add half cup skimmed milk & again cover and cook for 10 mins
Halwa is ready
If you want add stevia ( Optional)
(Actually no need of adding sweetener as sweet potato is already very sweet)
Garnish with almonds / walnuts
Serve hot
