My husband has been snacking on whole lupin beans…..and honestly I was not impressed. He then ordered some new keto flour called lupin flour. After trying his lupin bean snacks…I was not expecting this flour to be any good. WOW!! I was blown away by the tasted and texture of the lupin flour. It is the closest thing I’ve tried that was a keto flour that compares to traditional flour. Stay tuned for more recipes.

  1. I have made this recipe a few times, my husband and I love them. We cut them horizontally and just a we bit of soft butter. My second batch fell, cause I had a headache and messed up the time, so I learned better to leave in a couple extra minutes then take the out too soon.

    I made this but in a mini bread pan and it came out great. I sliced the baked loaf into individual bread slices 🥪 and then toasted it well and added butter…after a year on Keto and zero bread, this gave me much satisfaction and reminded me of my old toasted bread and butter days 🧈 🍞👍✔️

  3. I've been using Lupina for several years. Love it, but there aren't very many recipes out there.
    There are some brands of Lupin that are bitter. Check the label, make sure it's made from sweet white lupin. Lupina is never bitter.
    I use it to make oven fried chicken. Dredge the chicken in Lupina, with whatever seasonings you like, place in a lightly oiled baking dish. Bake at 350°f about an hour. Take it out, turn the pieces, bake another 30-45 minutes. It tastes just like it would if you used wheat flour.
    You can pan fry with it, too, I just like to use the oven so I don't have to stand over it.
