  1. Thank you so much for this recipe! It is soooooo good! So much so, that I have not been without it in 2 weeks, after making it for the first time! I'm just getting ready to make some right now! 😋😋😋😋😋 PS-Instead of black-eyed peas, I use black beans that I make at home. I've only opened one can of black beans, and it was gross, and they were gray! Canned chickpeas are not gross!

I've been following your channel for a long time ( for 6 years at least, found it while looking for Fall recipes; tried many of them bty 😉 This recipe looks fresh and yummy and certainly the ingredients are present in Mexican food: cilantro, beans, avocado, lime, tomatoes; but I really must say we never eat beans in a salad in Mexico.
