Methi Paratha recipe| Vogue cooking| easy and healthy breakfast


Methi Paratha is one of the well known and commonly made breakfast in north India. The main ingredients of this recipe are whole wheat flour and fresh methi leaves.

Whole wheat flour naturally has the level of fiber found in wheat. Fiber is an important part of your diet, as it prevents constipation, helps control blood sugar, wards off heart disease, and even assists in weight-loss management.

Whole wheat flour is also rich in vitamins B-1, B-3, and B-5, along with riboflavin and folate. It also has more iron, calcium, protein, and other nutrients than white flour.

Fenugreek leaves also known as methi leaves. They have distinct flavour. They have variety of nutrients that are important for health like Vitamin K, Calcium, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-complex. They also contain many powerful anti-oxidants.

So, it is concluded from above that #methiparatha is best breakfast option.

▪️ Fresh methi leaves- 2 bunches
▪️ Whole wheat flour – 300gms
▪️ Finely choped onion -1 medium sized
▪️ Salt to taste
▪️ Finely choped green Chilli
▪️ Red chilli powder – 1teaspoon
▪️ Carom seeds – 1teaspoon
▪️ Garam masala(optional) – 1 tablespoon
▪️ Oil

Add all the ingredients in a vessel and knead a soft dough. Roll the dough and shape your paratha according to your choice. Finely cook it on hot Tawa by applying oil to both sides of paratha.
