Making The McDonalds Big Mac at Home, But Better! Keto McDonalds Big Mac & Big Mac Sauce McDonalds Big Mac vs Homemade Keto Big Mac! Only 2 Net Carbs

Big Mac Recipe:

2 cups almond flour
4 eggs
1 tablespoon of baking powder
4 tablespoon of butter
⅓ cup warm water
1 teaspoon of yeast
Dash of salt
Optional 1 tablespoon of sugar or sweetener
8 Net Carbs
12g Fiber
20g Total Carbs
36g Protein
92g Fat

¼ cup mayo
½ heaping Tablespoon dill pickles chopped
½ tablespoon dill pickle juice
1 tablespoon sweetener
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 teaspoon ketchup
dash of salt

2g Total Carbs
0g Protein
21g Fat
200 Calories

1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt & Pepper
shredded lettuce
dill pickles
minced onion
American cheese slices
3g Net Carbs
0g Fiber
3g Total Carbs
58g Protein
37g Fat

Start by making the buns.
Place warm water with yeast and sugar and allow it to bloom, 5 to 10 minutes
Then add in remaining ingredients and mix well.
Preheat oven to 350
Prepare silicon muffin top mold, with avocado spray or any spray release.
Add batter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 12 ton15 minutes or until golden.
Make sauce.
Add ingredients for the sauce into a bowl. And mix well. Adjust to taste.
Set aside, in the refrigerator.
Make the patties.
Mix all ingredients with the ground beef.
Shape by hand or flatten with a flat surface.
Heat a pan.
Add patties and cook to preference.
Allow the patties to rest once done.
Now it’s time to assemble the Big Mac.
Spread a little Big Mac sauce over the bottom base. Top with some chopped onion, shredded lettuce, slice of cheese, beef patty and some pickle slices. Top with the middle bun layer, and spread with more Big Mac sauce, onion, lettuce, pickles, beef patty and then finish with more sauce. Top with a burger bun.

  2. Hola. (Note: that is the extent of Spanish that I can speak.) I had a sweetener question. You mention to use any sweetener that we like, but the type does make a difference on the amount. I usually add Stevia or Truvia to my recipes, and they are 1:1 ratio with regular sugar. But, there are others that are like 1/2:1 ratio, (where 1/2 cup sweetener equals 1 cup sugar). Which type did you use? The last thing I want is a nice, sugar-sweet Big Mac. Thanks.

  3. Some things just don't translate 1 to 1 for Keto. Almond bread is firmer than a soft flour bun that squashes down, so the middle bun is overkill. The meat is also thicker making this into a giant lumberjack style burger. And, calories do count. But looks awesome. Ginormous, but awesome.
