Korean Barbecue – but VEGAN – Easy Tasty Recipe!

Vegan Korean Barbecue is SO easy and SO tasty. This easy vegan recipe is a great way to get into making vegan food that is really similar to the animal based product. Is it exactly the same? No, of course not, but it’s a really good alternative and no animals are harmed in the making of it.

Ingredients:
“Meat”:
1 Cup Vital Wheat Gluten:
1/4 Cup Chickpea Flour:
1 teaspoon “Beef” Bouillon:
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika:
1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar:
1/2 teaspoon Sesame Oil:
2 Tablespoons Tamari:
3/4 – 1 1/2 Cups Water

Simmering Liquid:
Pot of Water
2 Tablespoons Tamari
1 Tablespoon “Beef” Bouillon
1 Tablespoon Costco No Salt Seasoning

Sauce:
1/2 Cup Tamari
3/4 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar:
1/4 Cup Mirin:
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar:
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes:
1 teaspoon Sriracha:
1 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder or 3 Cloves Garlic
1 teaspoon Ground Ginger:
3 Tablespoons Corn Starch:

Serve over rice and top with chopped green onions
