These chicken meatballs smothered in a delightful tomato cream sauce pair perfectly with steamed broccoli.

The tomato cream sauce gets into every bite of these savory meatballs. Dip the broccoli in the cream sauce, too for a complete and tasty meal. Inside the meatballs, you’ll find parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and sun-dried tomatoes – fresh, vibrant flavors in each bite. I can already feel this will be a weekly dinner for me!

  1. If you want less calorie dense meatballs, skip the parmesan, and use half breast half thigh chicken meat with skin included to make your own ground meat, and you only need to knead the meat to make the the meat "dough" for the meatballs. Instead of butter, use either coconut or olive oil, butter can burn at high temperature. After you fry the meatballs, my suggestion is to take them out of the pan, deglaze the pan with 100ml half and half of water and tomato juice, add the tomato paste after deglazing and then the cream, stir until incorporated, and then add the meatballs to the sauce to finish them off.
