  1. I liked it, it was different but not better than fathead dough, I might have undercooked the crust. I followed exact time and temp and also substituted almond flour for the protien like you stated. My crust wasnt as browned as I'd like or crispy, also when I tried to even slightly fold it, it crumbled and broke. The pros to fathead is it has that pizza elasticity still like traditional pizza, also the coconut oil gave it a slight coconut taste which wasnt terrible for me at all but might not be for everyone. Overall, nice alternative to fathead pizza!

I made the version without whey protein, heard that can spike ur insulin lvl. the crust came out perfect, it doesnt taste like the real thing but i love the consistency, its crispy not crumbly but somewhat chewy at the same time, holds up nicely. personally ive never tried making pizza with fathead dough, but i dont think i need to now, not a fan of the idea of eating too much cheese.

    TIP: Add some Psyllium Husk to ad "flour" instead of all that protein…

    …just pull the protein a little bit lower and add psyllium and you'll be fine…

    An egg white will let the crust a little more crunchy, too (and no "eggy" flavor)…

  4. I know this video is a year and a half old but I wanted to let you know that I made this tonight and it is awesome! It's like I was eating normal pizza!! I used Kerry gold butter instead of coconut oil and used my regular low carb pizza sauce and mozzerella/provolone mix cheese. Then I cooked my pepperoni in the microwave so it was super crispy and when I took the pizza out put the pepperoni right on. I cooked the crust for 10 minutes before putting the toppings on and baked another about 5 minutes more. The crust was golden brown and crispy! Yum! Oh, I also baked it on a small dark colored cookie sheet and even the bottom browned!!

I opened the link for the printable recipe, but it took like 5 mins to get to where I could simply screenshot the actual recipe (in pieces), because the page is SO FULL OF POP UP ADS that the page kept reloading to the top, and taking forever to load, and scrolling was non-responsive at times, and wherever I pointed an AD tried to come under my finger. I wish just the RECIPE ingredients/temp° were just typed into the video description itself. Annoying.

  6. This crust makes a good plate to scrape your sauce, cheese and toppings off after baked. I really was excited for this but the crust just doesn’t taste good. I would rather eat other calories that I actually enjoy. The form is great and it really holds up similar to a regular pizza crust. A for effort but the end result is really underwhelming.
