  1. One trick to really get rid of the cauliflower taste is to squeeze the water out of the cauliflower and it gives it even more potato consistency.

    This past week I had a great idea to try putting beef gelatin to thicken my heavy cream mushroom gravy and it came out soooooo good! I used to just reduce the heavy cream because I don't like the slimy texture of xanthum gum, but I am telling you, you must try using beef gelatin! It's even better than flour gravy!
