My Keto Maple Syrup is perfect when you just feel like having some crepes or pancakes, and need that quintessential delicious topping!
You can easily half or even quarter the amounts if you wish.
Enjoy 🙂
Ingredients:
2 Cups Water (500 grams)
1 ½ Cup Brown Swerve Sweetener (220 grams)
½ tsp Xanthan Gum (1.25 grams)
¼ tsp Salt (1.5 grams)
½ tsp Vanilla extract (2.5 grams)
1 tsp Maple Extract (5 grams)
Preparation:
Set a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat and add 2 Cups Water. Let the water come to a simmer, but don’t let it boil. In the meantime, mix together the 1 ½ Cups of Brown Swerve, ½ tsp Xanthan gum and ¼ tsp Salt. Once the water starts simmering, slowly start adding the Swerve mixture, 1 spoonful at a time. Add the next spoonful, once the previous one has melted into the water. Don’t mix vigorously, to prevent the sweetener from crystallizing. Once all of the mixture is added, continue simmering on low heat for about 3-4 minutes more.
Once off the heat, add ½ tsp Vanilla extract and 1 tsp Maple extract. Let it fully cool and transfer into a glass container. Keep it refrigerated for 2 weeks.
Enjoy like you would regular syrup.

Does it crystallize overtime?
Great, thank you 🍁
Such an easy to follow recipe. THANK YOU!
Does maple syrup extract have any hidden sweeteners? I’ve read other comments that McCormick hides their nutritional info on the bottle and box unless you go to their website and look. Just curious if you knew anything about that 😊👍
If we dont have maple syrup extract what can we put?
Short and sweet 😁
Can I use stevia and erythritol blend sugar instead of brown swerve?
Yummy and so much better than buying the commercial brands which costs twice as much…
Can I use brown sugar instead of the brown swerve or any artificial sweetener??
What heat for stove? 1 2 3 4 medium?
This looks so good! Do we have to use erythritol, or is something like xylitol ok? Does it need to carmelise?
