  1. My plain ol' boring no calorie iced tea recipe: you need a gallon pitcher and gallon sized tea bag. Boil 4 cups of water and pour over tea bag for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag and fill pitcher 1/2 full of water. Add 1 cup of sucralose or the equivalent of your favorite lo/no calorie sweetener. Stir. Add 3 ice cube trays and stir until ice cubes are gone or nearly gone. Add enough water to top off your gallon. One more quick stir stir and you're done. You can drink right away since you added ice and it will already be fairly cold, or put in the fridge for a few hours to chill completely. Sometimes I can drink a gallon of this a day during hot weather months. I'm not sure if this is considered "fresh brewed" or "tea concentrate" or maybe somewhere in the middle. This is my go to recipe and I have been doing it like this for over 10 years. Simple and tastes great (to me!).

  2. Leave out the mint and ginger and the teas look great! You have given me ideas of making my own fruit flavored black iced teas. If your wife’s name is Dipti, then it is the same as a friend of mine in college. I also like peach iced tea. I use both iced and ice interchangeably, maybe it is more singular vs plural?
