KETO ICE CREAM MACROS (PER SCOOP) Recipe Makes 3 Scoops:

*NOTE: Do not count the “carbs” from the confectioners swerve towards net carbs….it has 0 calories and should be tracked as 0 carbs!
Ingredients:
1 Cup (235mL) Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tsp (3g) PURE Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsps (24g) Confectioners Swerve
Seeds from a 1/4 of Vanilla Bean
*1/2 Scoop (15g) of vanilla protein powder can be substituted for the vanilla beans
I used a 24oz mason jar, but a 16oz mason jar should work ok too.
PRO-TIP: Use Xylitol if freezing for more than 1 day. It will keep the keto ice cream creamier. The ice cream may need up to 30 minutes to defrost depending how frozen it is, so let it set at room temp until it softens up to your liking.

I don't get it, how is this nice? I've tried, it's all like "frozen whip cream" taste. It isn't near "ice cream" at all. And the whip cream leaves a creamy film aftertaste.

To be honest i think eating this icecream is far more bad and insulinogenic then eating normal icecream the main game in keto is harmonal not about carbs those sugar free stuff are more damaging then real white sugar

I would first off like to thank you for all the amazing recipes on this channel. I've tried Keto before but it was with store bought products and I couldn't stand the taste after awhile. I know everyone's tastes differ on sweetener but have you ever looked into or tried Sola? While a lot of products say they taste like sugar Sola was the only one to me that actually did. It only comes in granular but I had a small gift coffee bean grinder that we never used that turns it into a fine powder in one cycle. I made your recipe and tweaked it with some unsweetened vanilla almond milk (can form ice crystal in the ice cream)then upped the Sola to 30g and finally 1 1/2 Tsp of spice supreme imitation vanilla extract. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the real stuff and it turned out so amazing, I'm glad I did. I can't get over how real this tastes and with fall coming on I just started playing with the pumpkin spice extract… Thank you a million for recipes that make Keto easy!

This is NO KETO:
1. the sugar in the heavy cream is too high.
2. swerve uses sugar-alcohols which is also sugar.
i have to say i just did this recipe today, with the same exact ingredients, and it was worth every penny, it was identical to traditional ice cream in sweetness and texture, homerun, on top of that i have two large spoons almost scoop size, but i still have 3 times that amount left, enough for a few more ice cream days, by far the best keto recipe for ice cream in the world. very easy.
I just got done tasting this ice cream today! IT IS BETTER THAN REGULAR ICE CREAM. I HONESTY hate ice cream… especially BREYERS ice cream. This ice cream taste like regular ice cream and I didn't feel like I was eating something Keto. If you eat the whole serving that is 6 grams of carbs for delicious ice cream.
However, How is this ice cream two grams of carbs when everything used is zero carbs? Do the carbs come from the PURE Vanilla Extract, since everything else is basically zero carbs? That is the only place I see the carbs coming from because if it is not the extract then is this icecream zero carb? Might be impossible. Taste too good to be zero carb.
If you chill the jar in the freezer before starting, the cream should thicken more quickly. ๐น
Adding mct oil and xanthum gum would probably help it not get too hard.
There will be lots of ice in this ice cream.
