  2. If something tastes SWEET
    It may still spike insulin.
    The satiation sensors in our tongue will send signals to the body
    Telling the pancreas "Something sweet is entering the mouth, release insulin for absorption"
    So if it tastes sweet, chances are… Insulin is being kicked on…

    This is why many still have trouble kicking that last bit of fat on Low Carb/ Keto diets.

  4. Brilliant. I have had the deepest hankering for chocolate chip cookies and I am not a baker. This recipe fit me perfectly in terms of ease and speed of prep, and flavor. Thank you! … Fyi, I have no keto friendly brown sugar left out that ingredient and only used the white sugar substitute – I didn't feel as though anything was missing, it was plenty sweet for me.
