I doubt the fat buffers anything. It’s the fiber in the blueberries and avocado that slowly releases the sugar that prevents sugar spikes. Just be sure your meals have fiber, and stop worrying about natural sugars in superfoods.

Why do I crash and burn with smoothies? 30 minutes after drinking them, my eyes are so heavy I can't even stay awake. Very low carbs but it feels like I ate a whole plate of pasta-carb overload. 😐

Just plugged this into carb manager. Assuming this recipe is 2 servings, you’re looking at 35 net carbs for 1 serving. I try to stay under 20 carbs per day, so this would not fit my macros. HOWEVER, I did make this recipe with 1/4 cup (for one serving) fresh blueberries and it still came out delicious.
To anyone who is interested, I made it exactly as the recipe showed….. And it is AMAZING!

This is kinda weird blueberries have gi of 53 and boiled potato 80 and jogurt 35 and oatmeal 40 but yet berries are ok and rest is devil, dr Berg how some no they arent full of fiber

I'm not an avocado lover. But I know it's crazy-rich in so many nutrients so I've been looking for a recipe that masks the taste. I can still taste it a little, but it's fine with the blueberries. I broke it down to 1/3 of the original recipe. 1/2 small avocado, 1 cup of blueberries, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tsp erythritol, plus 1/2 vanilla extract helped to.
I have been told that once younblend berries or anything actually it turns into sugar. Is this correct?
There are 54 net carbs in 3 cups of blueberries! How can this be ok on keto!? Even if it was 4 servings that would still be too high for my comfort zone! By looking at those glasses they are drinking, my guess is it’s 2 servings. So that would be 27 carbs (for just the blueberries).
29 net carbs for the shake (if it was two serving) Yikes! I’d love to drink it it looks really delicious. But I am going to have to pass.
