Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

This is a family favorite, even the kids love it and it reheats well 😉PERFECT for leftovers. Before you go check out more of my keto recipes. I keep them simple and family friendly. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

Recipe:
1 pound ground beef
2 oz cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup shredded cheese plus extra for top
4 slices bacon
1 Tablespoon sf ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon hamburger seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Pickles
*Bake at 350 for about 30 min or until set

  1. Tips on making bacon, my way: use microwave. Line a dinner plate with a paper towel. Fold a single piece of bacon in half and lay on paper towel on plate. Continue until you have 8 bacons folded in half. Cover bacon with a double paper towel. Put plate in microwave and cook on high for 8 mins. Bacon comes out well done. Let bacon cool, No mess no fuss.

  2. Hey Kristi, I have been following you for a few weeks now as I find my footing in the Keto world. I can't thank you enough for all great advice, tips and tricks, recipes etc that I have learned from you. (taking my base in shots like a medicine has been the most life changing, but others have become my favs).
    So here's my question. I have a good ole' country boy husband – you know the type, diets and for women and he ain't eat'n no diet food – well something like that. :: wink :: I try to explain to him that my diet is just "normal" food with a few things taken out. He wants no parts of it. So I basically pull my hair out looking for recipes that I can sneak on him and say I was too tired to cook my "diet food" this is what's for dinner, aka this cheeseburger casserole. I would love your family's honest opinion, although the bacon cheeseburger bowls are obviously quick and easier, are they better then the casserole? Or is the casserole with it's heavy cream, cream cheese and 78 blocks of cheese THAT much better? lol I mean I kind of know the answer but hoping maybe the kids would say with the special sauce you put on the bowls, just maybe they are just as good? Bottom line, knowing that I am "sneaking this in on a hater", can I get away with the bowls or make the casserole?

I am trying to fit the recipe into my fitness pal and just want to make sure I am doing it right.
