  1. I have never been a vegan but I used to watch you two or three years ago. Coming back, I'm genuinely shocked to see your face. You look very tired and worn out. Please, PLEASE consider eating some locally sourced eggs from happy chickens who will live out their lives as pest control in a garden once they stop laying. Eggs are packed with nutrients and this way you are not hurting any animals at all. Vitamins in tablet form aren't really absorbed by the body very well whereas the bioavailability of the nutrients in animal products is much higher.
    Obviously i completely understand if you don't as it isnt vegan but i do hope you at least consider it.

  2. I drink one cup of coffee on an empty stomach every morning with no problems. Some people assert that because of the acidity content of coffee that it automatically leads to irritation of the gut which may exacerbate heartburn, IBD and other digestive disorders. But research has repeatedly shown a lack of evidence to corroborate this. I have digestive problems my entire life but I know that is due to my stress-induced weakened immunity, which I have since healed through eating probiotic rich food, taking the proper vitamins supplements to support my immune system and eat a nutrient rich diet, plus getting proper rest, meditating and other stress reducing activities. I also eat bitter foods like grapefruit and radishes which increases enzymes to promote increased digestion which also helps increase nutrient absorption. Doesn't hurt that coffee is high in antioxidants, improves mental clarity, exercise performance and keeps me regular to boot! That said, there is a small proportion of people who are very sensitive to coffee and caffeine who need to eliminate it from their diet altogether, either on an empty or full stomach – the studies have shown it doesn't matter for those people (my husband is one of them). Some people also have underlying medical conditions like Cushing's syndrome which makes them unable to drink coffee. I think we need to listen to our bodies, get tested for intolerances, allergies and sensitivities, and eliminate or modify what we take into our bodies accordingly if needed.

  3. Definitely a REAL day of eating because the food wasn’t to the YouTube standards of plating, lol. Cause we all know they’re all about the aesthetics, but we’re here for you and not them. I just feel like sometimes people get too overwhelmed to cook for themselves because they’re under this impression that the food they make has to look the same way as it does in the videos.

  4. Love your WIEIAD videos 😀 I wouldn't worry about your coffee too much. I think it can be an issue if you have anxiety but otherwise it's quite beneficial. It feeds your gut bacteria and even has more fibre than a glass of orange juice! Check out the ZOE podcast on coffee 👍 Those waffle fries looked amazing, I need one of those mandolin things.

  5. I am going to be that person and say please use the guard that came with your mandolin slicer. I had been lucky for 20 years in that regard. Up until 4 days ago. I shaved off a good portion of my index fingernail and had to go get my thumb stitched bc I had cut myself so badly. (I basically cut off 1/3 of the tip of my thumb). And it still bleeds 4 days later. And it's numb for some reason. So please don't be me. 😂
