You are going to LOVE this vegan coconut chickpea curry

Curry has been a staple in my life and while I grew up with Jamaican curry dishes, as an adult I’ve grown to love curries of all backgrounds. This is a combination of a few cultural inspirations that I’ve thrown together into something my family loves to eat, especially when making it with some homemade naan.

It’s fairly easy to make even though it looks like a lot of ingredients and I’m sure you’ll love it.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!

  1. I've been looking for a low-effort but high yield vegan meal that I would CRAVE at night (aka not let it sit in the fridge and order takeout instead). THIS IS IT!!!! Made this last night and its DELICIOUS. Served over rice and suddenly you have 4+ meals for the week. So happy I found your page!

  2. Mr. Bernard, how much would you say your clean eating lifestyle has to do with be able to grow that beautiful beard? I don't really care for beards because they tend to make me itch. Your beard look so healthy and soft. Any tips you can pass on, so that I can pass it on. I am new to your channel, I love the vids I've watched so far. Thanks.

  3. Hey Andrew I think because this channel is so new I would love to add something to a growing channel. To increase someone’s watch time I think it would be cool to add pop-up fun facts or helpful cooking tips throughout the video. Like why onions go into a pan first or why it can be important to add pepper with turmeric for health benefits. Just a fun idea, from one vegan to another thank you!

  4. There is so much wrong with this video. That’s not the way to cook tomato paste or curry powder. Curry powder should be mixed with a little of water and toasted directly into oil (by itself); garam masala doesn’t need to be toasted – it should be stirred in at the end. Tomato paste should be cooked right into the curry powder and cooked for about a minute or two ti develop the flavor. Try again

  5. Made this last night with a random mishmash of ingredients I had laying around. Instead of garbanzo beans, I used one can of white beans and another of lentils. Cherry tomatoes instead of whole. Oh my gosh! It was so good!! Never thought to chop up a bunch of spinach like that for a dish like this, will definitely be incorporating into future meals.
