Jennifer Aniston’s Salad is going VIRAL online. She apparently said she ate this every day on the set of Friends (de-bunked?). But I went ahead and tried her recipe, then gave it a twist of my own! If you liked this video, check out my Gigi Hadid’s video:

Short clips from the Friends tv series

Jennifer Aniston Salad:
1/2 cup bulgur
1/2 can garbanzo beans
1 cup cucumber, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, sliced and diced
2 tablespoons parsley, minced
2 tablespoon mint leaves, chopped
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup pistachio
Juice from half a lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Cook bulgur according to package’s directions, let cool.
In a large bowl, combine bulgur, garbanzo beans, cucumber, red onion, parsley, mint, feta cheese, pistachio, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix and enjoy!

My version:
Lemon Garlic Chicken breast
1-2 chicken breasts
3 garlic cloves, minced
juice and zest of half a lemon
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 cup olive oil

In a container, mix everything together and marinade for an hour to overnight. Grill on each side for 4-6 minutes until cooked through.

To make my version of the salad, add a bed of baby kale, add chicken breast, avocado, and tomatoes. Enjoy!

  1. Hello, I am watching and following you from Turkey. When I watch this video , you likened it kind of tabule. And I liken a “Kısır”. It is a turkish food which is most of turkish people’s favorite and I am sure you’re gonna love it. I would enjoy to watch you while you are making a kısır.

    Warm regards😊

  2. I thought one reason Jennifer said she ate this for ten years is it was just easy for her. I agree with you though I hardly ever have the same thing for lunch. If there are leftovers in the house I usually like to wait a day before I have them again. I also liked the way you plated yours with the avocado fan.

  3. I don't think people should be referring to this as Jennifer Aniston's salad. Turkish/Middle Eastern people eat salads with bulgur. You'll even find a Betty Crocker recipe online that is called Middle Eastern Bulgur salad that has most of the ingredients that are being used in the salad in this video. It's from 2014.
