Crumbling tofu to match the texture of the egusi is interesting. I'll have to try that! I love egusi so much though and I eat so much tofu that I feel like I'll recognize the tofu too much and it'll throw me haha
We been eating like this in nature?
I love this!! I’m Ghanaian and looking to cut out meat gradually, this is genius! The tofu was chef’s kiss because I’m not vegan, so I do get a tad nervous about protein intake, so thank you for that! Gonna try this wk and see how it goes
This looks perfect 😊
This looks so delicious! And trying it with beans sounds like a great idea
Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Great explanation and useful information.. I am Iraqi vegan but I also love African food😻
Nice one. The crumbled tofu is a genius idea. Where do you buy the dried mushrooms?
This makes me really wish we had African resturant where I live. All these different spices would love to try while at the same time I would hate to pay so much and find the tastes are too different for my palate.
can’t wait to make this!!!
easier way to cut bell peppers – stand pepper up, with your knife in a vertical position cut around the stem, pull stem and the seedy part inside will also be removed – then slice in half the long way, turn each pepper half cut side down and spank your pepper (the remaining seeds will fall out), then cut as usual.
