  1. Real Soul Food is sooooo easy to turn vegan once you realize that our traditional cuisine is way more than just Fried Chicken and Mac&Cheese lol.

Like why does nobody talk about our red rice, dirty rice, succatosh, tomato and okra stew, steamed/fried cabbage, green beans w/ potatoes, red beans and rice, Hoppin John, etc.?

  2. Love the concepts. I am on a healthier living journey and I appreciate your cleanliness and presentation, very helpful. I was often curious how people cook with ๐Ÿ’… and keep their hands clean! The fried mushrooms, vegetable broth and apple cider vinegar and the pie and cornbread were highlights for me. You're doing it sis!
    Thank you.
You're an inspiration and motivation to be well.

  3. I don't understand why people put flour in their cornbread mixture unless they don't have self-rising cornmeal. I don't do that and my cornbread is literally the best. Once people learn about my cornbread they asked me to make them some cornbread and they would eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner even in the middle of the night. The best type of pan to cook your cornbread in is a cast iron skillet.
