  1. Is it bitter tasting? I used turnips for french fries and I just couldn’t take the bitterness. I now use radishes and those work well for making home potatoes with bacon and onions. Just wondering about the rutabaga and if it’s bitter like turnips.

  2. We Brits would call that a "turnip". I've tried these once or twice in the past and they still tasted kinda turnipy. I'll give them another go and change up the seasonings to see if I can eradicate the stinky turnip flavour. I should really invest in an airfryer as they take absolutely ages in my oven. Thanks for reminding me of this alternative to fries ( chips ). 🙂
