  1. Just for fun….and because one if my sourdough starters was going to die if I didnt refresh it…I made this pizza crust again. This time I went FULL ON SOURDOUGH. Added 1/2 c sourdough sponge and reduced liquids in recipe by 1/4 c. All the rest same except…sourdough…
So I cold proofed for 2 days. Then I let the dough sit covered at room temp for 8 hours, divided into 4 personal sized crusts. Par baked and froze 3 for other days secure in the knowledge that I can have real pizza again, and I made a SD Pizza out of the 4th. So awesome. Next I'm going to try bg turning this into cheesy pizza bread sticks.

  2. So happy to find a recipe that doesn't use xanthan gum. Can't stand the stuff. Also happy about the lupin flour, I use that a lot. It looks wonderful, can't wait to try it.
It's possible that psyllium husk powder might make a good sub for gelatin, if someone wanted a vegan version. They would, I assume, use some sort of vegan fake cheese.
I'm perfectly ok with real cheese, and gelatin. And will be adding pepperoni and sausage, possibly some onion and mushrooms.

  3. Have to say, I watch you for entertainment when i need some spirit elevating chuckles. Love love love your "humorous artistic interpretations" ❤️ and bonus great information! Lol SERIOUS KETO!! LOVE him for just heart to heart sincerity!

I need you both! Lol I have you both! Love you both are connected!!

    Thank you for everything!!

  4. I am an Atypical Type 2 (skinny) diabetic. 2 years out from diagnosis. I've been angry at pizza for 2 years now…even one plain small slice sky rockets my BG. The only alternatives till now were frankly dusgust in bg. I just made this for the first time, and Dennis….YOU ARE MY HERO! REAL PIZZA! OMG! I'll be making a few of these to put in the freezer to cook on the BBQ when I have a craving now that the weather is turning warm here in NewEngland. And BTW you can use a pizza stone. I use a cast iron griddle that I preheated in the oven then transferred the pizza made on a sheet of parchment onto it to cook. Super crisp outside, soft chewy inside crust.

  5. I don't know what kind of accent is the narrator trying to do but as a non native speaker I find it really barely understandable. This might be one of the reasons why this channel has not as many subscribers. I am watching lots of american YouTube, lots of jargon (lectures about nutrition, political channels, etc.) and never had a problem understanding.
And here narrator definitely defeats me sometimes. Even captions are not accurate.
Love the content. Love the recipes. I am really a fan. But sometimes I struggle to follow. I think I don't lack in vocabulary. My struggle is with the accent or style of speech.
And it's also only about the narrator, Dennis and most of the other chatacters are fine.

  6. There is NO better keto pizza crust recipe than this one. We've tried them all as well, including take out restaurants. It's easy to make, looks and tastes like the real thing, and versatile. I took a portion of the dough and made garlic bread. 10/10 A++++++. THANK YOU DENNIS!

  7. Just wondering why 3 tsp of sugar to proof less than than a half tsp of yeast? Will the yeast really consume most of that sugar? For example, fleishmans dry yeast suggests 1 tsp of sugar to proof more than 2 tsp of yeast. Yet you are using 6 times that ratio? Or does it have to do with the amount of water?

  8. So I've finally ventured out and got some VWG as I had run out and needed to resupply before making this. I know it's going to be amazing. One question though – do you have a great pizza sauce recipe to go with the amazing pizza? I usually use a drained can of whole tomatoes crushed by hand, some oregano, vegeta or salt, garlic and olive oil. I don't cook mine, just straight onto my pie and into the fridge with any leftovers. It's a damn cold day in Australia today, only 21 C where I am, so I'm going to make this on the weekend when it should be warmer

  9. Seems like most Keto pizza crusts are heavy and dense especially if made to a regular thickness as in this video. I tried taking the original recipe but dividing it into 4 balls so as to make a super thin crust thus each piece is not as filling. This had the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper and using a rolling pin to spread it out. Problem is with a super thin crust is it has no stiffness to the crust, very soft. So I experimented and found that after baking it on parchment paper in the oven I also had a cast iron pizza pan already heated in the oven. Then I removed the pizza from the paper and placed it on the cast iron pan for about ten minutes The result was a thin and crisp pizza that for my taste is perfect. Enjoy all your videos Black Tie, keep it up.

  10. Well, I made the pizza. I tried to do the grams measurement, but I don't believe I got the formula right. I was in heaven, but would you be able to make the powder measurements in cups? I had to hold it together from falling apart. The crust was great and the bottom was beautiful. I've recently become a diabetic and haven't eaten pizza in a few months, and it was orgasmic eating pizza again… Thanks much, my taste buds were screaming for joy and woke up my wife…

  11. And the Oscar goes to (drum roll) Dennis! I just watched for the performance only. It was very enjoyable. OK, I will try the recipe. I love pizza, but recently became a diabetic, so I owe you a debt of gratitude. Thanks much. If the pizza tastes as good as it looks, you will be receiving my first born. I hope his wife doesn't mind…

  12. I tried your recipie, with all do respect, it tasted awful! I followed kito for more than 2 years now, and every 7 to 10 days, i have a big cheat meal, pizza, desserts, ice cream, and even if you gain 3 or even 4 pounds, it's mostly water weight, and you lose it in about 3 days, if you get back on the keto rail with a little intermittent fast of 18-20 hours for a couple of days. So, my take is, indulge yourself with a real pizza once and a while and stop looking for those keto pizza that taste like sh…….t! I lost 60 pounds even with my cheat meal every 7 to 10 days!

  13. I live near a pizza place. the man who bakes them comes from italy but is egyptian. he learned how to bake them in holland. these are the very best pizzamoney can buy. so …. drop dead with low carb and all that shit. food needs to tast good. and his pizza's do.!
