How I Eat In A Day Plus Tortilla Soup Recipe / High Starch Low Fat Vegan

In this video I show you a typical day of eating for myself as a high starch low fat vegan. Ill also show you guys how to make an easy and super tasty Tortilla Soup with oil free tostadas and vegan sour cream. While in this video I share with you guys that ive cut back on the amount of breakfast I eat, that does not necessarily mean Ive cut back on calories….Im eating more at lunch and dinner and I always listen to my body. If Im hungry I eat without restriction of whole plant based foods. Tortilla soup Recipe: 1 onion chopped 3 cloves garlic 6 roma tomatoes frozen or use canned chopped tomatoes Juice of 1 lime 2 cans beans of choice 1 bag corn or you may use canned or fress corn 2 small cans diced green chilis 1/2 jar oil free marinera sauce (I love a garlic one) 1 32oz container of vegetable broth 1 cup chopped cilantro water saute onion and garlic, then add tomatoes, then add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with cilantro, avocado (optional), vegan sour cream (optional), and oil free tostadas. Sour Cream: 1 container plain unsweetened coconut yogurt (by so delicious) 1 tsp vinegar 1/4 tsp salt mix and use like sour cream oil free tostadas: corn tortillas place corn tortillas on parchment paper on cookie sheet and bake in oven at 425 for 10-12 minutes until crispy. watch carefully they burn fast.   6. cool ! I found your portions especially breakfast quite large haha but hej it can differ per person so no judgement. But this does leave more space for adding some seeds/nuts for extra omega 3 and nutrition. But cool that you got aware and are finding your new natural way of eating and listening to your body

  7. I think since you worry about weight so much why not go a little further and eat all organic or at least non-gmo. Its better for your health all the way around and better for our planet. Kroger is not a very good food brand. I have no problem finding organic or at least non-gmo for all my ingredients.

  8. KIKI…I have a blood disorder called hyperlipodemia (which is a fancy word for chol/trygs numbers are in the 1000s. Yes 1000s+++. I went vegan in '12 and my numbers significantly dropped without meds. During the last three years i lost both my parents and now i help take care of my FIL who has Alzheimers. On Jan 1 after a few health scares of my own i decided that i needed to do whats right and get back to being vegan. My blood disease is made worse by fat…any kind of fat. However everyone keeps telling me carbs are from the devil. Whats your story and opinion on this? I need to loose around 70 lbs. Watching your videos have given me hope and i love the fact the you put recipes on there too. 😊
