Homemade Low Carb Pretzel vs Wetzel’s Pretzels! How to Make Keto Pretzels Recipe

Servings – 4 Pretzels

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup almond flour
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp baking powder
2 oz cream cheese
2 eggs

Egg Wash
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp water

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds increments until fully melted and stir to mix.
Add your dry ingredients and egg. Mix to incorporate, then knead until smooth. You may need extra almond flour.
Divide the dough into 4 equal sections. Roll into a rope, then shape the rope into a pretzel. You can do this in multiple ways.
Brush the pretzels with the egg wash and sprinkle with salt
Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown!

  1. I started keto while in lockdown over in Shanghai and your channel is giving me the hope to get through to the end so I can get my hands on all of these ingredients. I am by no means fat, but I have always been skinny fat and this diet, in only 10 days, has made my stomach fat reduce dramatically. I do have one concern and that is my friends all say that this might be dangerous in the long-term and was wondering if you could make a video on that and maybe dispel myths or give tips on how to stay safe? Thanks.

  2. These look so good, but I Hate how Fathead Dough is so much fat because of the cheese and how one pretzel can be so many calories. Definitely for a treat and you can split it with other people in your family ( at least for me). You can make mini pretzels or pretzel bites instead of a big pretzel and that might help with some of the calories/fat because you're not having so much at one time.
