While we like to indulge in steaks and everything grilled & bbq on Father’s Day, let’s add a healthy side.🥒 ZUCCHINI FRIES 🥒 are Keto friendly, Gluten Free, yet full of flavor and nutrition!
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 egg, beaten
1 zucchini, washed, dried
Cut zucchini in half. Then cut into quarters. 1 zucchini should yield 16 pieces.
Prep a breading station with 2 shallow bowls. Combine parmesan cheese, garlic powder and italian seasoning in 1 bowl. Add beaten egg to the 2nd bowl.
Dip each zucchini piece into the egg wash, then roll in parmesan mixture, coating all sides. Line coated zucchini onto a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes at 425 degrees. Flip and bake for an additional 10 minutes until all sides are golden brown. Enjoy immediately.
