Idiyappam is a culinary specialty throughout the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Sri Lanka. The name idiyappam derives from Tamil. The Tamil word idi (meaning beat) and appam, (meaning pancake) together form a new name for the version of the Appam dish.

Muthi Pitha is a dish made with rice flour and coconut, it originated in West Bengal, Assam, etc.

A) Idiyappam
1. Rice Flour – 2 cups
2. Salt to taste
3. Oil – 2 tsp
4. Hot Water
5. Fresh Grated Coconut (optional)
Curry
1. Oil – 2 tbsp
2. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
3. Mustard Seeds – few

13. Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
14. Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp

16. Salt to taste
17. Cashew Paste
